Choir News

300 at Walkers Talkers and Singers  -  So we let one Walker do the Talking.

Thanks Bill so glad you enjoyed it, see you next time.

Absolutely fantastic! This is more than a choir. It exudes energy, vibrancy, enthusiasm, happiness and humour, and then transmits it to the audience. Being allowed to sing on only one day a year (Christmas), I was most envious.

Thank you so much. It was a wonderful experience.

Load of Boule
Beautiful weather brought the Choir out in force for our 2nd annual Boules  tournament at the Anchor  Oldbury upon Severn preceded by a wonderful meal.
Nobody won as nobody kept the Score (again). Thanks Brian Wood B1 for organising a great evening.

Hot Hot Hot !

In temperatures touching 30 degrees it was a white shirts afternoon (no jackets or ties) as we sang our way through a concert at Deerhurst Care Home Soundwell on Sunday organised by our very own Bob Reid.

With Ice cream served to the residents and choir in the interval it was a very pleasant afternoon.

It was also the 1st whole concert for our new inspirational MD Lottie Osman, and also the 1st staging for our new member and Baritone Jonathan Frere

Let the River Run

What a great evening was had when a group of choristers, friends and family took our annual boat trip and 'singathon' around Bristol Docks .

The weather was perfect and our singing well received  by the customers outside the Ostrich & Cottage waterside pubs

New Choir Stall

Members of  BMVC turned out to man the Choirs new recruitment stall in Stoke Gifford on Bank Holiday  Monday. Among the many people to drop in for a chat was the local MP Clair Hazelgrove.
