PATRON The Lord Mayor of Bristol

 

Steve Daykin, the Choir's Musical Director, was appointed in January 2007. Steve studied Clarinet and Conducting at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. Having completed a BMus (Hons) and PgDip in performance, he was awarded the Principal's Prize for Music in 2002 as he embarked on a career in performance and teaching. Steve was appointed Assistant Director of Music at a School in Bristol in 2004.

Elaine Smith GTCL, LTCL, is the Choir's Accompanist and was the Choir's Musical Director from 2000 - 2006. She is a graduate of Trinity College of Music, London and has accompanied many operatic societies and choirs in the Bristol area.
